The called "Emo" used to hear bands like Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Within Temptation - on the internacional musics - and "Pitty", "Fresno", "NX-Zero" or similar bands.
There is one thing in common on this musics: They ever (and when I said "ever" is really "EVER") talk about a bad thing how happen on your life, or that they lose a girfriend, or that someone die, or the life's cruel, etc.
